Helena Bijnens holds a Masters degree in Roman languages (French and Italian) and specialised in Media- and Information Sciences at K.U.Leuven. In 1999 she started at ATiT (Audiovisual Technologies, Informatics and Telecommunications) where she worked as a project manager and researcher, in the field of e-learning. In March 2005, Helena started working for EuroPACE ivzw. Helena ‘s role in EuroPACE consisted of overall coordination of the international activities, development of the strategic goals of the organisation and leading the
EuroPACE team. At the same time, Helena was also coordinating language and multimedia projects (such as WebCEF, Being Mobile, UNIQUe) for AVNet-K.U.Leuven.
In KHLim, she started as Coordinator Research and External Services for the Media, Arts&Design-Faculty. Since September 2011, she is advisor at the Project bureau, the KHLim central support unit for (inter)national projects.
In the Postgraduate she gives classes about project planning and communication in the Module “Nieuwe Media (niet) in mijn organisatie”.
